TikTok took the world by storm, especially in 2020 when the world was put on hold and people were stuck at home. TikTok is a great platform to use if your goal is to increase brand awareness. The key is to get more views because the more views you get, the more likely you will be featured on the For You Page. TikTok is all about trends. Therefore, one of the best things you can do is to hop on those trends and make cool content. Many creators make videos that include viral visual effects and TikTok sounds (music or conversational sound effects). TikTok sounds are the key to using the app, so making content that includes sounds that went viral is a great way to get more eyes on your content. If you saw a trend that fits with who you are as a business, make sure you hurry up and make a video. Trends come and go quickly on social media, especially on platforms like TikTok so, make sure you act fast.

Just try and think of who your target audience is and the type of content that they’d engage with. Knowing this will definitely help you get started in finding the people your audience follows. By regularly engaging with users in your niche, you will slowly begin to build a support network for your business. The larger the network, the more likes, comments, and shares for your business’s TikTok videos.
3. Promote on Other Platforms
If your business has multiple social media pages, then this tip is specifically for you. You may have noticed that many TikTok users share their videos on other platforms like Instagram. Sometimes, cross-promotion is the best thing to do because it allows more views on your content. It’s also beneficial because the people that may not have a TikTok account can now see the content and share it with other people. This is great for your business because now you can post “day in the life” posts, or “how-to” videos and watch how people interact with them. Share your business, show people what it’s like to be an entrepreneur. If the content is interesting and valuable people will watch it. To start making these types of videos try starting with the most frequently asked questions you receive and answer them in your videos. Get creative with this and I promise people will love to watch your content.

The app can be a little tough to navigate and it will take a lot of trial and error to see what works the best. But if you stay consistent, and create genuinely, quality content you won’t have anything to worry about!
